What this quiz measures—and how.
This original educational quiz looks at two themes: worry about distance or rejection, and discomfort with dependence or closeness. It is a short reflection exercise, not a clinically validated assessment.
You answer ten questions on a scale from 1 to 4. Five contribute to each theme. Some questions are reverse-scored, and the average for each theme determines the result. In this tool, an average of 2.5 or higher counts as a higher tendency.
Lower averages on both themes produce a secure-leaning reflection. A higher worry score produces an anxious-leaning reflection; a higher distance score produces an avoidant-leaning reflection. Higher averages on both produce a fearful-avoidant reflection. These labels describe this quiz’s output, not a permanent identity.
